I will go over breathing in this video

Breathing while we are dancing is something that we do not practice or talk about in class. Like with all sports breathing is very important. As dancers we breath with our upper chest. Dancers do not allow the stomach to expand and release like when we are relaxed or Singing. Dancers after pulling up generally do not have room for expansion in addition to wearing tight costumes and most of all it’s not flattering to watch dancers dance with their tummy out. Check out this video for more of an explanation. We have to keep in mind that we breath naturally but while dancing you have to be aware and remind yourself to breath.
